The Lady Vanishes

Effect: Three different cards are shown.The center card is a queen.The cards may also be shown from the back and counted while held in the hand. The spectator is asked to keep his eyes on the queen. The cards are now placed on a table one by one face down. When the cards are turned over and shown face up, the queen has VANISHED, leaving a blank card in its place.
